投资限额一降再降背后 天弘基金正在经历成长的烦恼

公司从默默无闻到业内第一,也由余额宝出现之前的90多人,发展到现在约600多名员工。一名熟悉天弘基金的人士透露,在2015年阿里巴巴旗下蚂蚁金服入股之后,企业文化、绩效考评照搬阿里系,但是阿里的情况跟天弘基金不同,所以天弘这几年在公司管理上存在一些问题,这也使得很多员工和高管离职。

该人士进一步解释,“公司总经理郭树强管理的方式之一是换主管,新主管与老团队在思想上存在着一些分歧,很多老团队的人都离职了。比如市场部,‘空降’了一个人,以前没带过团队也不太懂基金,之后该部门老团队很多员工都离开了。”

事实上,2014年6月份,媒体报道天弘基金全员持股名单,天弘基金200多么员工将持有公司股份,当时也是行业第一家全员持股的基金公司。

据上述人士介绍,天弘基金于2015年上半年实施全员持股,是以2014年底的人员编制来划分,若提前离职则按年头确权。确权部分可长期持有也可退回,没有确权部分必须强制退回。

然而即便有股权激励,但2017年公司仍公告管理层两位副总经理相继离职,上述人士称,“全员持股之后,人员流动性依然很高。因为全员持股激励不可重复。招人的时候说预留了股份,表现好会分,但似乎也没怎么给后进来的分过,高管和下面员工分红差别实在太大了。”

据了解,天弘基金部门构架分为投研部(固收和股票)、策略部、前台渠道销售、机构销售、品牌宣传、销售支持、IT、会计、法务和财务等10几个部门,其中电商和客服为周晓明负责,其他部门归属天弘基金总经理郭树强负责。

郭树强作为天弘基金总经理、投资总监、投资决策委员会主席,拥有16年证券从业经验,历任华夏基金管理有限公司交易主管、基金经理、研究总监等职务。据一位接近天弘的基金人士透露,“公司每个发展阶段都有其战略方向和策略。郭树强系投资出身,很想把公司权益类产品做起来,也一直在推行这个事。包括后来引进人才,但是公司业务的发展需要找到正确的方向和恰当的时机,然后通过时间来积累。”

据Wind统计显示,从复权后的单位净值看,截至8月 17日,天弘旗下84只基金中,有30只基金净值低于1元。而天弘基金旗下共38只股票基金,其中,有28只基金净值低于1元,也就是说处于亏损状态基本为权益类产品。

天弘基金表示,在权益类方面,公司也在引入优秀人才,稳步提升。在权益类资产投资方面,天弘基金建立了涵盖投资研究、投资决策、投资执行、风险管理、业绩评估的完善的投资管理流程,通过对重点行业进行重点监控,建立核心股票池,优选个股。行业研究覆盖率已达100%,行业研究员对上市公司的覆盖率接近30%。2015年以来,公司通过“精英人才计划”,引进业内历史投资业绩优异的基金经理,不断充实投资队伍,股票投资能力获得大幅提升。

根据Wind统计显示,截至2017年6月底,天弘旗下共有84只公募基金管理规模为1.51万亿元,其中货币基金的规模达到了1.43亿元,占比约95%。

由此可见,周晓明负责的余额宝,占据了天弘管理规模的绝大部分。

周晓明,天弘基金副总经理。2001年步入基金业,历任嘉实基金市场部副总监、第一任渠道部总监、产品和营销总监等。2009年,任盛世基金拟任总经理。2010年,他投身私募,创办了一家量化投资公司。2011年进入天弘基金出任首席市场官。

余额宝的从出世到规模的迅速发展,周晓明有着不可或缺的作用。但周晓明近期表示,要系统地来打造资产配制的能力。资产配制能力运用到组合,运用到策略里边去综合地提升我们给客户的这种资产管理能力。其中这些管理能力肯定是要覆盖权益的。也就是说换句话说就是权益这块儿,不单是说提升某个权益基金的业绩,再增加几个权益基金的供给,而是用从资产配制到具体的投资管理,打造一个体系。这里边非常有效的要去探索大数据有效的发挥作用。然后来综合的提升我们的这种投资管理能力。
