据英国《每日邮报》报道，现年56岁的男子富尔维娅•佩莱格里诺（Fulvia Pellegrino）家住意大利佩韦拉尼奥，2000年宣布自己其实是一个女人。为了追求完美身材和脸蛋，花费了5.2万英镑（约50万人民币）进行多次整形。
富尔维娅说，他从15岁时就意识到自己的内在不一样，但那时候不敢说出来，只好遵从社会要求自己表现出的男子气概，在谎言中生活了几十年。
