1月15日上午，冯远征转发有关作家白桦先生去世的微博，称赞其所写的话剧已成人艺的经典剧目，并祝福先生一路走好以表悼念之情。

15日上午，冯远征转发“电影守望者余泳”发布的确认作家白桦先生去世的微博沉痛悼念，并表示：“北京人艺排演先生的话剧《吴王金戈越王剑》已成为人艺的经典剧目。先生一路走好！”

1月15日凌晨2时15分，诗人、剧作家、小说家、散文家白桦在沪逝世，享年89岁，曾创作了《山间铃响马帮来》《神秘的旅伴》《苦恋》《曙光》《李白与杜甫》《今夜星光灿烂》等多部优秀电影剧作。
