5月26日，有媒体传言“央行今天上午通知各大行在满足流动性的前提下，美元全部上存央行”。央行晚间对此辟谣称，此消息不属实。
央行表示，“当前银行体系美元流动性正常，人民银行没有采取任何要求商业银行上存美元的措施。我们对相关媒体捏造、发布和传播不实新闻的行为表示谴责，并保留通过法律途径追究相关责任的权利。”（闫立良）
