吕女士说，2015年11月1日，孩子的生父、犯罪嫌疑人郭某被抓获。2016年1月6日上午，记者从山西省长子县公安局负责侦办此案的孙警官处了解到，案发后不久犯罪嫌疑人即被警方以涉嫌强奸罪刑事拘留，目前案件还在进一步补充侦查中。
2015年10月5日，一名年仅13岁的花季少女从36楼坠地，当场身亡。死者小郭的一名亲属向法晚记者透露称，女孩生前曾经遭到生父强奸。2016年1月6日上午，山西省长子县公安局一名负责办理此案的民警介绍，小郭的父亲已经因涉嫌强奸罪被公安机关刑事拘留。
小郭的小姨吕女士介绍称，2015年1月的一个中午，小郭父亲赶到学校，要把孩子接回老家。此时还是上学时间，距周末还有好几天，从老家回来3天后，孩子拿出了一条洗干净的深红色内裤说不喜欢了，要扔掉。“当时觉得扔了有点可惜，但不知道到底是因为什么事，也没有过多干涉。”
