联合国儿童基金会称也门霍乱疫情得到初步控制

也门2017年4月起暴发霍乱疫情，至今已发现超过50万感染病例，导致2千多人死亡。据法国《费加罗报》8月29日报道，联合国儿童基金会(UNICEF)当日声称也门的疫情已得到初步控制。

UNICEF在一份公告中称，目前也门每周的新增霍乱疑似病例数量较6月底已经下降了超过3成。当地在救治患者的同时，还努力改善饮水条件和卫生系统，这些措施有效减缓了疫情的扩散。

UNICEF还指出，此次霍乱疫情的感染者有超过一半都是儿童。（王战涛）
