原标题：特沃德罗斯·阿达诺姆当选世卫组织新任总干事
当地时间23日下午，正在日内瓦举行的第70届世界卫生大会选举埃塞俄比亚政府提名的该国前外交部长特沃德罗斯·阿达诺姆博士(Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus)为世界卫生组织新任总干事。这也是世卫组织近70年的历史中首位来自非洲的总干事。
现年52岁的阿达诺姆是国际知名疟疾研究专家，于2005年至2012年担任埃塞俄比亚卫生部长，曾在“全球防治艾滋病、结核病和疟疾基金会”等国际组织中担任重要职务。世卫组织新任总干事将于2017年7月1日就职，接替即将卸任的陈冯富珍女士。（央视记者张赫 李春元）
