香港警务处警察公共关系科总警司谢振中：港珠澳大桥是国家级重要基础设施，也是一个陆路边境口岸，基于保安的考虑，警方在港珠澳大桥香港口岸及整条十二公里的香港连接路已准备好一系列与本港其他边境管制站相同的保安措施，包括设立二十四小时运作的警察基地及事故控制塔、装设保安围栏、警报系统，以及在‘交通管制及监察系统’加设警方专用的录影功能作保安监察用途。大屿山警区、新界南总区人员，以及反恐特勤队亦会在大桥和香港口岸作高姿态巡逻，以确保大桥的安全。（央视记者张成）
