冷有春的忏悔：刚开始一些人给我送钱送物，我的党性提醒我这是犯错误的，但是我的私欲告诉我没事，小来小去的没人查，大不了退回去，我就这样一边安慰自己，一边向行贿者敞开了大门。
点评：冷有春对当官抱有不切实际的幻想，在他看来，当官就是“人上人”，能“光宗耀祖”，理所应当享受财富和享有特权。可一旦与财大气粗的老板相比，他立即发现“理想很丰满，现实很骨感”，心态严重失衡。他偏执地想利用手中权力得到补偿，一心想发财致富、造福子孙。为此，从收小钱都不敢，逐渐发展为收大钱还不满足，甚至主动索贿，一步步从轻微违纪到严重违纪，直至涉嫌违法。
值得注意的是，在冷有春从“小打小闹”到严重违纪的过程中，监督却没有起到应有的作用。在他信念不坚，有违纪苗头时，没有人及时地对他“咬耳扯袖、红脸出汗”；在他踏出违纪第一步时，板子也没落到他身上。这让他心存侥幸，无视纪律，愈发大胆，最终滑向无底深渊。冷有春的堕落，再次表明把纪律和规矩挺在前面的重要性和必要性。唯有真正以纪律为尺，抓早抓小，管到位、严到份，才是对党员干部的真正爱护。(李志勇)
