12月20日，中国国民党前副主席洪秀柱女士赶赴江苏昆山，接驾慧聚妈祖回銮安座。慧聚妈祖是2010年由前海基会董事长江丙坤从台湾最古老的妈祖庙鹿港天后宫请到慧聚寺天后宫，是第一位分香到大陆的妈祖。12月16日慧聚妈祖起驾回台谒祖，20日返昆。
