2016年4月10日报道，广西玉林市博白县有两户村民办婚礼，双方迎亲队在路中相遇，由于有感同日办喜宴兼狭路相逢是“不吉利”，加上双方在路上又各不相让，结果引发争执，继而爆发激烈冲突。双方从当日下午2时一直互相抛掷烟花、追打火拼，直到傍晚6时许才结束。
当地警员接报赶到现场时，身穿红色衬衣的年轻人仍然手拿刀棍、土制火炮等武器，与另一支迎亲队伍激战。据悉，参与打斗的是双方亲友，而导致冲突原因是其中一名林姓的人家，在村道一处路口搭建了迎亲彩门，而另外一家齐姓的迎亲队伍也想从该道路经过，但林姓家人觉得让对方经过自家搭建的彩门“不吉利”，因而掀起这场大战。
