北京西站春运临时候车区首次迁至室内(组图)

1月24日，2016年春运自正式开启，至3月3日结束共计40天。与往年不同的是，北京西站由地下商场改建而成的6900平方米的临时候车厅已正式投入使用，设有北广场地面和北地下二层两个验证验票入口，旅客乘坐地铁出北出口或乘公交车到达北广场后，经两个临候区入口就近验证候车。这也是西站首次将临时候车厅迁入北广场地下一层，改善了春运期间旅客的候车条件。据悉，2016年春运期间，北京西站预计运送旅客1180万人(日均到发29.5万人)，比2015年同期1123万人同比增长5.1%。
