【环球网综合报道】新年伊始，拥抱一块巨大的冰块似乎是带来好运的奇怪方式，但至少日本人可以从中获得安慰。据英国《每日邮报》1月12日报道，11日，东京有大约100人参加了古神道“Kanchu节”(日本人冬天净化仪式)，祈求使自己的身体和心灵得到净化。
尽管当日室外气温仅为华氏40度(6摄氏度)，这些祈祷者仅仅身着裤子，头系一条手帕参加仪式。他们蹲在位于Teppozu Inari神社冻结的泳池，拥抱一块巨型冰块静心祈祷。尽管从这些照片来看祈祷者感到很痛苦，但这些神道教的追随者们相信如果他们足够虔诚，神灵将会给人类快乐，并乐意帮助他们。
