7月20日，河南省洛阳市伊川县境内伊何滩拦水坝出现约20米决口，河堤受损严重，拦水坝随时可能垮塌。应伊川县人民政府请求，按照中部战区命令，第83集团军某工程防化旅紧急出动，星夜驰援执行爆破分洪任务。该旅是国家级抗洪抢险应急专业部队，先后参加1998年长江抗洪抢险、2008年抗震救灾等重大抢险救援任务。截至目前，救援仍在继续！
