网易娱乐12月13日报道 13日，立威廉转发《天国的嫁衣》即将翻拍的消息，表示自己也很期待，他写道“Brings back many memories。。I look forward to it！ 满满的回忆！我很期待！”

据广电总局11月电视剧备案显示，由王心凌、立威廉、明道、关颖等主演的经典台湾偶像剧《天国的嫁衣》即将翻拍，预计2019年10月开拍，共44集，剧情与原版相差不大。主演之一明道出席活动时回应表示“很希望自己的作品被翻拍，觉得没什么不好。”作为男主角的立威廉时隔一日后也发声，表达了自己的期待，看到昔日作品被翻拍，也掀起了回忆杀。

不少剧迷纷纷留言表达对立威廉当年演绎的肯定，“只有你才是我们心目中的陆子皓”“你是无法超越的”“心中永远的陆子皓，威廉。”
