据香港媒体报道，“卓别林电影人士艺术成就奖”今年于上海举办，梁朝伟亦是首位亚洲电影人获颁这项殊荣，由查理·卓别林的孙女凯拉·卓别林（Kiera Chaplin）亲临现身颁奖给梁朝伟。

梁朝伟表示卓别林是他小时候心目中一个伟大的表演艺术家、一位大师，很开心来到人生这个阶段能够拿到这个奖，感觉十分荣幸，更高兴连好莱坞影星罗伯特·德尼罗也赞他是亚洲的奇勒基宝。

刘嘉玲得知老公梁朝伟获得殊荣，特别送上惊喜，一早安排好梁朝伟的好友包括钟镇涛与太太范姜、邱淑贞与老公沉嘉伟、梁家辉夫妇、杜德伟夫妇及上山诗钠等神秘到上海道贺。
