北京时间10月26日，在今年中超联赛即将收官之际，大连召开大连足球发展座谈会，大连市长、常务副市长以及体育总局等相关领导都出席了此次会议，而引人关注的万达老总王健林也在会议发表了讲话

在今年联赛开始之初，大连一方“突然”有钱的消息便传开，球队先后重金购买了卡拉斯科、盖坦等外援，而能够拿出这笔钱的显然不会是大连足协，随后万达从一方手中接手大连足球的消息便传开。

王健林在座谈会谈到“希望汇聚各方力量，争取三到五年内，让大连职业足球重返亚洲一流！”，另外，参加大连足球发展座谈会像是一个信号，也引发外界猜测，明年万达要从幕后走到前台？
