虽然这一段戏有点夸张，但是却让人百看不厌，每次看到这里都会忍不住笑出声来。这一段戏也成了周星驰经典电影《唐伯虎点秋香》里面的经典。

后来巩俐不无遗憾地也表示：当年演《唐伯虎点秋香》很放不开，不理解当年周星驰的想法，甚至完全搞不懂什么叫做无厘头搞笑风格。巩俐曾说：很后悔当年没能像其他演员一样，疯疯癫癫的出演，如果有机会的话再好好演。
