北美自贸协定分开谈？美方如不满修订结果或退出

由于美国6月1日起对加拿大和墨西哥钢铝产品分别征收高关税，惹怒两国，美方谈双边协定的打算恐怕会遭遇强烈抵制。

墨西哥5日宣布对美方一系列产品征收报复性关税。加拿大先前计划对总价值大约128亿美元的美国产品征收高关税，包括钢铝产品和酸奶。

美国外交学会高级研究员爱德华·奥尔登说，“现有气氛完全有害”。

贝克·麦坚时国际律师事务所贸易律师、美国国家安全委员会前委员罗德·亨特说，特朗普政府似乎认为美方经济影响力足够强大，能使体量较小的贸易伙伴让步。

“然而，各国都有政治策略，”亨特说，“如果你用经济利益与政治利益对抗，后者往往获胜。”（赵曼君）【新华社专特稿】
