遭白蚁啃噬 世界第二大菩提树打“点滴”治虫害

印度特伦甘纳邦南部马哈巴布纳加区一株树龄700年的菩提树遭遇虫害，森林管理部门用软管将杀虫剂缓慢注入树枝内部，远看就像给树打点滴。

这棵菩提树是当地知名景点，据说是世界上第二大的菩提树，树冠面积达1.21万平方米。菩提树去年遭白蚁啃噬，部分较大的树枝断裂。当地政府去年12月开始限制民众参观，着手给树治病。

《印度时报》援引区森林管理部门官员查卡·甘加·雷迪的话说：“我们先尝试把杀虫剂‘毒死蜱’稀释后注入树干孔洞中，但这不管用。溶液很快就流出来。后来我们开始像给人输液滴注生理盐水那样注射溶液，结果有效。”

雷迪说，树枝吸收溶液需要10至14小时，杀虫剂经软管进入树内部后可以流遍整个树干。专家们也在树根上接上软管，防止虫害进一步蔓延。

由于白蚁严重损害菩提树，当地政府在部分受害最严重的树枝旁边安装水泥板以支撑树体。

菩提树是榕属大乔木植物，冠幅广展，气根发达，有如树干。（王鑫方）【新华社微特稿】
