应急管理部启动IV级应急响应

并派出工作组

12月16日12时46分四川省宜宾市兴文县（北纬28.24度，东经104.95度）发生5.7级地震，震源深度12千米。地震发生后，应急管理部启动IV级应急响应救灾指挥机制，党组书记黄明、副部长郑国光立即赶到部指挥中心，调度了解受灾情况，部署抢险救灾工作，要求迅速分析研判震情趋势，快速高效实施救援，科学调度人员物资，并派出工作组赶赴震区指导救援救灾工作。截至16日17时30分，已接报有16人受伤，震中部分乡镇震感强烈，部分房屋出现裂缝，少量房屋倒塌，个别乡镇出现停电停气，个别道路因滑坡中断。当地消防救援力量已赶到震中开展搜救工作，另有5支地震救援队伍已完成集结，随时可赶赴现场。当地政府正全面开展灾情核查、抢险救灾、伤员救治等工作。

据中国地震台网测定，震中距离兴文县城约20千米，距珙县30千米，距长宁县40千米，距筠连县40千米，距威信县40千米，距高县50千米，距宜宾市约70千米，距成都市约270千米。震中50千米范围内的人口密度约370人/平方千米。
