科技部：高度关注“基因编辑婴儿”事件 将配合相关部门开展调查

新华社北京11月28日电 (记者陈芳、胡喆)科学技术部副部长、中国工程院院士徐南平27日在北京表示，获悉“基因编辑婴儿”事件后，科技部高度关注，将配合相关部门开展调查，在进一步核实后将依法依规严肃处理，并给社会一个交代。

徐南平指出，科技部与原卫生部在2003年颁布的《人胚胎干细胞研究伦理指导原则》，第六条第一款和第二款明确规定“利用体外受精、体细胞核移植、单性复制技术或遗传修饰获得的囊胚，其体外培养期限自受精或核移植开始不得超过14天”“不得将前款中获得的已用于研究的人囊胚植入人或任何其他动物的生殖系统”。

徐南平表示，科技部高度重视该事件，“已经召开紧急会议，我们现在最重要的是要了解这方面的具体情况，在核实情况明确定性后，将依法依规严肃处理”。
