任命“正副部长级”学生干部引争议 中大学生会致歉

熊丙奇认为，高校行政化其实早已饱受诟病了，中山大学这次事件不过是这个社会问题的一个缩影。

近年来，国家层面也认识到高校运行行政化和权力化所存在的弊端，分别于2010年发布《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》、2013年发布《中共中央关于全面深化改革若干重大问题的决定》，2015年发布《教育部关于深入推进教育管办评分离促进政府职能转变的若干意见》等文件，均提出逐步取消学校行政级别的举措。

2017年4月6日，教育部等五部门发布《关于深化高等教育领域简政放权放管结合优化服务改革的若干意见》，其中明确提出：“鼓励高校推进内设机构取消行政级别的试点，管理人员实行职员制。”
