为何要停止第四套人民币部分券别流通？央行回应

1987年4月25日，国务院颁布了发行第四套人民币的命令，责成中国人民银行自1987年4月27日起，陆续发行第四套人民币。

第四套人民币主币有1元、2元、5元、10元、50元和100元6种，辅币有1角、2角和5角3种，主辅币共9种。

这套人民币在第二套、第三套人民币的基础上，增加发行了50元和100元两个券别。

1999年10月1日，在中华人民共和国建国50周年之际，中国人民银行陆续发行第五套人民币。第五套人民币共八种面额：100元、50元、20元、10元、5元、1元、5角、1角。第五套人民币根据市场流通中低面额主币实际起大量承担找零角色的状况，增加了20元面额，取消了2元面额，使面额结构更加合理。新京报记者 宓迪
