基础设施得以完善，医护人员力量不断加强，基础药物和医疗设备配套到位，一牧场医院终于结束了8年无住院病人的历史。2015年1月，一牧场群众麦热罕姆·麦提如则因心绞痛住进了一牧场医院，经过医院医护人员一周的精心治疗，麦热罕姆·麦提如则康复出院。

“感谢常医生和程医生让我们在家门口就能看病住院。”麦热罕姆·麦提如则说。

为了让患者能随时得到救治，常洪波在医院推行医护人员24小时值班制度和领导带班制度。既是医生又是医院领导的常洪波给自己排的是满班，索性在办公室支了张床，把“家”搬到了医院。

“无论身处繁华或者偏远，我都不想虚度，就想做一点事情，找到存在感，也实现一个医生的价值。”常洪波说。（线索来源：国家卫生计生委宣传司）
