EA已经宣布正在考虑重制《命令与征服》游戏。根据EA制作人JimVessella在Reddit上的暗示，EA很有可能会重制多款《命令与征服》经典游戏，只不过当前不确定EA是以合集的形式推出还是单独发售。
消息公布后，国外不少玩家担忧EA可能会在重制版游戏中加入微交易。然而Vessella在Reddit上回复称，如果重制游戏成真的话，EA不会在里面加入微交易或开箱。
“我们不会在《命令与征服》重制版中加入任何的微交易”。
《命令与征服》首部游戏1995年登陆PC发售，2020年将是《命令与征服》系列第25周年。每一部《命令与征服》游戏，从1995年的初代到2012年的网游《命令与征服：泰伯利亚联盟》，都能在PC上游玩。即便不算是一些衍生作，正传也有多达十几部。
遗憾的是，如果EA真的重制，我们PC玩家至少也要等到2020年才能玩上。。。
