1月31日，游客在西安革命公园游览时发现：为纪念革命将士，由著名书法大师于右任撰文手书或杨虎城撰文的纪念碑加装了玻璃罩，对文物起到了很好的保护，可是却成了一些游客投掷零钞的功德箱。石碑的玻璃罩里零钞成堆，更有甚者将香烟、废纸等垃圾也投到里面，俨然一个“垃圾桶”。
