此外，10月3日，华山风景名胜区迎来客流高峰。据该景区官微发布的消息显示，当天0点至18点，共有32932人次登山。10月3日，华山景区迎来客流高峰，图为当天上午在游客中心排队购票的人群。
10月3日23时45分，华山风景名胜区官方微博发布信息称，由于华山主峰区受到突发8至9级大风天气的影响，导致西线索道停运，景区出现部分滞留游客。
信息还写道，在气象部门预测3至4小时内大风还将持续的情况下，景区采取分流措施、引导游客由西线向东线转移，通过向滞留游客提供免费热水、姜汤、御寒衣物、食物等人性化服务的方式安抚游客情绪，并将体弱游客向室内转移，同时向夜间登山的游客做出温馨提示，劝告其次日登山。
