【环球网综合报道】法国国际广播电台网站8月31日报道，蓬全国选举委员会8月31日公布总统选举结果，加蓬民主党候选人、现任总统阿里•邦戈以微弱优势赢得选举，实现连任。结果公布后，反对派认为有舞弊嫌疑，上街抗议，与警方发生冲突，抗议人群周三晚上进入国会大楼纵火。
加蓬议会大楼周三晚上冒出黑烟，大楼前的民众告诉记者，有人进入大楼，放了火，“整座大楼正在燃烧”。
