【环球网报道 记者 程君秋】据新加坡《联合早报》4月23日报道，一颗“完美”的100克拉祖母绿钻石，22日在纽约的拍卖会上只竞拍了三分钟，就以2210万美元(约合人民币1.37亿元)成交。
据报道，苏富比拍卖行形容这是“历来供竞拍的最大颗完美、经典祖母绿钻石”，开拍前的预估售价介于1900万美元至2500万美元之间。这颗钻石是在南非戴比尔斯(De Beers)矿场开采出来的，原本重达200多克拉，其拥有者花了一年多的时间将它完美切割、打磨成目前的形状。
苏富比纽约珠宝部门主管舒勒在拍卖会上形容这颗钻石是“完美的定义”。他说：“其色泽比白色更白、毫无内部瑕疵，且全身通透，我只能用一池冰冷的水来加以比拟。”拍卖行说，拍得这颗钻石的买家通过电话竞标，但要求匿名。
据报道，正式拍卖之前，苏富比曾在多哈、迪拜、洛杉矶、香港和纽约展示这颗钻石，希望引起买家的注意。苏富比说，之前只有五颗品质相当且重量超过100克拉的钻石曾在拍卖会上出售。成交价最高的一颗2013年在香港以3060万美元拍出。
