国际在线专稿：据英国《每日邮报》12月30日报道，英国一只宠物犬近日为主人捡到一颗1.14克拉的钻石，让主人意外获得一笔财富。
据悉，英国男子伯特·贝尔近日带着爱犬布莱特比在林肯郡乡间散步时，布莱特比突然一边吠叫一边冲进草丛，叼出一个降落伞残骸。贝尔将残骸中的盒子拿回家翻看时，发现里面是颗1.14克拉的钻石，价值高达1.2万英镑（约合人民币11.60万元）。
今年8月英国某钻石商家为制造噱头，将钻石绑在氦气球送上天空，原计划以橘色降落伞和GPS寻回，后因GPS失灵，钻石不知所踪，因此钻石商家宣布钻石归拾获者所有。贝尔称，起初以为爱犬叼回的只是垃圾，但他突然想到这一事件，从残骸中找出一个装钻石的盒子。
钻石丢失事件发生4个月以来，许多人不断寻找却一无所获，最后竟然被一只宠物狗寻得。贝尔夫妇为此非常高兴，称“多亏了布莱特比，这是今年最棒的圣诞礼物！”
