当地时间2014年3月3日，俄罗斯列宁格勒州，俄罗斯总统普京现场观摩俄西部军区战备水平突击检查的最后阶段演习。
据俄塔社报道，普京当天在国防部长绍伊古的陪同下，乘直升机来到演习靶场。当天的演习内容包括登陆和空降作战，共有1800名军人、超过30辆坦克、近20辆登陆战车、5架飞机和80架直升机参加。
俄军此次战备水平突击检查从2月26日起至3月3日结束，有俄罗斯西部军区、中部军区、空天防御兵、空降兵、远程航空兵及军事运输航空兵参加，目的在于检验军队应对国家军事安全威胁、反恐、医疗和技术保障的危机解决能力。
