【砥砺奋进的五年】苏州有轨电车运营三年：一切美好在路上
随着苏州高新区城市发展空间的不断拓展，交通需求日益增加。2014年，苏州有轨电车1号线正式运行，弥补了高新区在轨道交通和常规公交运能之间的空档，还展示了当地特色的生态公交系统。 随着充满复古味道的“铛铛”声，电车平稳启动，宽大的玻璃窗外，就是美丽的风景。 近三年来，苏州有轨电车1号线先后4次提速、5次调图，运营水平全国领先，取得多项全国第一：旅行速度最快，18公里单程用时34.5分钟，速度与地铁比肩；发车间隔最短，高峰时段上线车辆12辆，最小发车间隔6分35秒；运行图兑现率和准点率均超过国家标准，乘客可以按点候车。截止6月底，有轨电车1号线累计运送客流523万人次。 苏州高新区共规划了6条有轨电车线路，目前正在紧锣密鼓建设有轨电车2号线和1号线延伸线，其中2号线全长18.5公里，主线起自苏州生态城，终点为文昌路站。两条线的列车也已全部生产完成，并且还是“苏州造”。 两条线路建成通车后，高新区有轨电车线网规模将达40公里。(来源：苏州新闻)
