富士康设北美总部

6月17日消息，据国外媒体报道，中国台湾电子产品制造商富士康宣布，它将在美国威斯康星州东南部港市密尔沃基（Milwaukee）建立其北美公司总部。此前，富士康在该城市中心区购买了一幢大楼。

富士康在一份声明中表示，有超过500人将工作在位于密尔沃基市中心的这幢七层大楼中。

此次宣布约一年前，富士康曾公布计划称，四年内该公司将投资100亿美元在美国的威斯康星州建立一个占地面积达到2000万平方英尺的LCD面板显示器工厂，该工厂最终可能会雇佣多达1万3千名员工。

这家公司正式名称为鸿海精密工业股份有限公司（Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd），它是全球最大的电子产品代工制造商，旗下员工超过100万人。（天门山）
