据俄新社报道，乌克兰媒体援引国防部消息称，在基辅汽车爆炸案中死亡男子身份已确认为乌克兰国防部情报局局长马克西姆·沙波瓦尔上校。此前，乌克兰警方曾对外发布消息，当地时间27日上午，首都基辅市中心发生一起汽车爆炸案，造成一男子丧生。随后乌克兰内务部新闻秘书称，死者为现役军人，相关部门已按照“恐怖袭击”立案侦查。（央视记者王晓雪）
