我现在在北京教授剪纸技艺，主要传人有小到3岁以上的，刚拿得动剪刀，还有一到六年级，还有初中的，另外还跟一些国外的教育机构合作，而清华大学、北大等等我都去上过课，他们都非常喜欢。我每天都做着自己想做的事情，都特别开心，感觉非常幸福。
这些年我创作了许多原创的剪纸作品，比如《生肖虎》、《年年有余》，还有《喜上眉梢》等等。这是一对羊，这个一些北京景观：天坛、故宫的角楼、圆明园。还有一个十二生肖全家福，还有给大企业定制的的明星片和培训证书，还有一些老剪纸，剪的鞋花之类。今年是猴子年，我还剪了一个贺年的剪纸，上面是一个福、一个寿。还有一些套色剪纸，还有做陶器的，烧在作品当中。
有人说人家有套娃，你把咱们北京美的景观，标志的建筑物能不能结合在一起？我就剪了一个北京景观的长卷，天坛、天安门、长城都有，我们到处去能看到。
卷轴上还有一篇《北京景观赋》：“中华文化渊源流长，博大精深，卓越辉煌，天安门城楼雄壮瑰丽，赢得四海亲朋赞誉，让国外游客倾倒，国家大剧院的独特建造，鸟巢、水立方辉映相照，现代化商业区的精心打造，四通八达的地铁公交，环境优雅、绿色环保，描画了北京的真实写照。”这都是我自己写的。
